Ryan Reynolds, Mark Wahlberg, and Ben Affleck follow the actor of Jumanji: Next level at the top of the list.
Dwayne Johnson is Hollywood's highest-paid actor for the second year in a row. According to Forbes, the interpreter accumulated more than $87 million between June 2019 and June 2020. Of this amount, he earned more than $23 million with his starring role in the upcoming Netflix action film Red Notice. To these gains, we must also add the success that Johnson has accumulated with his Project Rock clothing line.
Behind Johnson and second on The Hollywood Highest-Paid Actors list is Ryan Reynolds. The performer, who brought the Bocazas Mercenary to life in the two installments of Deadpool and who we will also see with Johnson at Red Notice, has amassed more than $71 million in the last year. The total profits come from other Netflix projects like 6 in the shadows and a future movie for the streaming platform.
The third on the list is Mark Wahlberg, with $58 million accumulated. These gains come mainly from the action-comedy for Netflix Spenser: Confidential and from his work as a producer on documentaries such as McMillions and Wahl Street.
The other actors following Johnson, Reynolds, and Wahlberg are Ben Affleck, Vin Diesel, Akshay Kuma, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Will Smith, Adam Sandler, and Jackie Chan.
Over these lines, don't miss the trailer for Jungle Cruise, the upcoming Disney film starring Johnson in which she shares the screen with Emily Blunt.
