When Spider-Man No Way Home presales opened, several sites crashed due to the high number of people logged in at the same time hoping to buy the precious coupon. Those presales saw the biggest numbers since Avengers: Endgame in 2019 on the popular site Fandango, that film recorded the largest national opening of a film in U.S. history at $ 357 million.

Fears that the ongoing pandemic could affect No Way Home's sales have been hushed for now, as the film is easily beating previous pre-pandemic films like Avengers: Infinity War and the latest Star Wars trilogy. It's hardly a surprise that the film is doing so well in presales, but it's still an impressive feat given the current circumstances.
